The technical definition of burglary is entering a building with the intent of committing a felony. You don't have to break in. Breaking and entering is typically a separate charge. And the felony doesn't have to be theft, it just turns out that way a lot of times.

And the house you go to get your money and/or possessions stolen is called a bank.
