Some people need to get this into their head

don't you hate when you're enjoying silence (usually reading) and some absolute D bag is like "awkward!" Nope shut up we are enjoying the silence.

most of the time, things aren't even remotely awkward until someone has to say something about it being "awkward" and thus makes it awkward

I never understood that, why can't you just take the silence and appreciate their presence
