What a douche.

This is good for people with claustrophobia, social anxiety, and/or just hate being too close to people

Maybe it was something she was carrying for a project of some sort, and she's actually just a good person who is trying to save space by standing in it (rather than holding it at her side which would take up a ton of space)

Definitely not Asian.

If the train was less crowded it would be alright, but if people were to do that then other people would have to be even closer together than they were before

That's just plain obnoxious
