Writing, reading and math is great, but why do I need to know the politics of ancient Egypt? Half the stuff they teach at school will be taught to you at whatever job you work at. If I'm an engineer, my employers will likely give me some info on how to work the job.
is 1+1=2 all the math u need to know? no. alot that u learn in math wont be used, but addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication is used alot. if you became an engineer, all those years of math would be needed though
Wow.....it's culture and history is important. You want the world to be ignorant about current events in the future? Adavances in different fields, information, people losing or gaining freedom....just forgotten because kids think is boring to listen to it in a classroom? Everything that you have now even if it's small, was possible after a series of events. That's history. You should know how are you able to be where you are. I'm sorry. It really bugs me when kids don't appreciate school. Especially in developed countries when they can have so many opportunities and don't take them. A kid from a third world country would reach for the sky if he/she had the opportunities offered to many in the developed society.
