art teacher sets prep sheets for over the Christmas holidays (2 weeks). 6 (minimum) prep sheets, 30 ish pictures to draw overall in different medias, have to do annotations for every one. my art teacher,
Teacher:"Now girls, remember to have a good, long break and don't spend the entire time working."
Friend: "But we've all only done like 10 pictures! We'll be working the whole time!"
Teacher: "I don't want you to ruin your holidays by working. Besides, you have a week when you get back to work on them."
HOW BLOODY WONDERFUL!!! I'VE ALREADY SPEND THE FIRST LIKE 4 DAYS OF MY HOLIDAY STRESSING OUT AND I'VE DONE A GRAND TOTAL OF 12 DRAWINGS, 0 ANNOTATIONS AND NOT ONE READY PREP SHEET!
Personally, I think we shouldn't have homework. We should study and to projects sure, but having homework every single night doesn't seem to help. When you get home after a long day at school, homework is the last thing you want to do, it's stressful and takes up whatever time of the day you have left, and so you do it quickly without paying to much attention. It should be optional and available for those who need/want it or done during class.
