There needs to be a movie about this where the day after, they go back to fighting, the Germans win and while surveying the bodies, one guy is like "Oh, I shot Jerry... We played fütball together..." and he goes through a massive guilt, moves to America to befriend Jerry's family, gets rejected, and kills himself
