also, they tracked that bear, probably for a long time, and shot it with a fucking LONGBOW. note that hunting with a longbow is incredibly difficult because the moment an animal sees you move it peels the fuck out.
It IS a trophy. They tracked that bear, either hiking after him or lying in wait, and now they are proud that that won a contest between man and nature. Why shouldn't they take a picture with it? How else are they gonna remember how proud they were?
Also, for fun is a great reason to hunt. It allows an opportunity to bond with nature and eachother, while also providing a healthy activity to fulfill their day(s).
So long as they don't let the animal go to waste, I don't see any problems.
let's bond with nature by shooting it :D sorry, but while I support hunting for food, security (risk of disease, to other species etc), I don't support trophy hunting. It definitely isn't bonding with nature- it's trying to prove that you're superior to nature using human technology to your advantage.
Yes because to BOND with nature is to kill it's inhabitants. What an asshole. Hunting as a sport should be banned, unless you actually plan to eat what you kill. I see no need to go out into the forest, kill something so magnificent, take a photo with it, and then disregard it's body
Wish I was that lucky.
