When someone says "New Year, New Me"…

I haven't said it but I'm not against it. Why does it bother yall so much?

When co-workers say "see you next year"

Is this Grace?

Optimistic Me:
"Happy New Year! Time to better myself!"
Realist Me:
"A large period of time has passed. Let us get drunk and celebrate. Yaaaay."
Realist Me doesn't apply to my birthday or Christmas......you can guess why.
