Once I was in a figure skating stamina class and I needed to sharpen my skates badly but I was like oh, whatever, I can do fine in dull skates.
They worked fine until I hit my top speed, lost traction on the ice, flipped over in the air twice, and slammed into the Zamboni doors, cracking two ribs.
