It seems to be only in the USA, I found no direct equivalent to this film paranoia in Europe.

I wouldn't call it paranoia. Most entries are not this strange. My wife and I use this tool a lot to determine appropriateness of movies. Some children can handle different things better than other children.

I looked up some tv shows I watched as a kid, and I totally agree with courage the cowardly dog being absolutely terrifying.
