Not so rare. I did this a lot when I was in high school.

I started writing a book, and with multiple outlines, brainstorming, and multiple drafts all hand written I've gone through two pens in two months.

I have always wanted to get a pen and keep scribbling on. A peice of paper and do it until the ink runs out

i accomplished that in less than a year...... high school.... i dont even want to think about college now
