Well, historically the soviets were the ones who really destroyed Nazi Germany, the Americans were busy with the Japanese and the English did very little in general other than being a bombing target for the Germans. I mean who were the Germans up against in the bloodiest battles (Stalingrad etc etc) and which army took Berlin? The Soviets
I wouldn't say that the Soviets destroyed the Nazis, I will say however, that Hitler had no idea how many of his people Stalin didn't mind losing.
While the Soviets lost (and took) the most in the Euro-theater, if it weren't for the valiant fighting of the European Allies, the US wouldn't have been able to break into the war and the Soviets would've been facing down Germany's entire military might.
