How big is Sao Paulo?
Do they have the space for them, or the resources to maintain them?
Do enough of the people even ride bikes to make the path worth while?
Honest questions, because I'd be pretty upset if there were large paths being seldom used.
So are drivers, but i have yet to hear of a cyclist hitting and killing a driver. cyclists take cars off the road so the poepl who are driving have less congestion and traffic. Get with the times dude.
I'm from australia and the attitude toward cyclists is terrible. After living in berlin where almost everyone cycles and seeing how easy it is over there it makes me sad. The drivers in Australia don't even know how good it would be for them with more people cycled, it get rid of congestion and helps people actually get to their destination quicker.
