I'm 23 years old and I still do this

In 5th grade we went camp and took a hike in the woods and they showed us a spot where there was tons of roots bubbled up and they called it the "Devil's trampoline" ...it was a steep hike down to it and they told us we had to walk down the hill backwards so the demons would think we were leaving instead of coming and had to face towards the bottom when going back up so they wouldn't follow us out... For many years I'd do that going up or down stairs! Especially when my grandma wanted me to get something from the pantry in the basement o__o
