This makes a good point. I have the "talent" of coming up with a much better put down when someone insults me, or a very clever and cutting comment for someone who does something stupid. Over the years I've never regretted keeping my mouth shut, even when it would have seemed so smart to other people witnessing the exchange. This story really sums it up neatly.
