You have to wonder though if the horcrux in Harry was strong enough to effect the Dursley's then why wasn't Harry himself affected (nor Ron and Hermione)
maybe their was only the tiniest peice of goldy in Harry's soul but even then over time it would mess you up
but the horrid that affected Ron could have had a lot of voldys soul amd mess Ron up much faster
Just one thing, in the books they show that the Dursleys were not the best people ever before Harry got dumped on their doorstep. Other than that, MINDF***
I see your point if they already hadn't disliked Harry. They never talked about Petunia having a sister brother in law or nephew perhaps. The only reason they took him in was the blood line safety spell. That Lily cast before Voldermort killed her not only protecting Harry but the Dureys as well. Good fan theary though.
Nice theory, but in the very first scene of the first movie before they even knew Harry, Minerva says: 'I've watched them all day, they are the worst sort of muggles imaginable." And in the book too she wasn't very keen to leave him with these people. Harry might have had some effect on them but they weren't good people to begin with.
This isnt okay. Child abuse and child neglect is NEVER the childs fault. As a former victim of neglect, i cant explain how upset this makes me. The child always blames themselves, but its never ever their fault, and never make it sound okay for it to be the childs fault.
Dude its just a conspiracy. No one is saying it's good to be neglected. No one saying this is 100% true. No one said it was Harrys fault for being a horcrux. It's just a way of showing they weren't always shitty people.
AND YOUR POINT HAS BEEN MADE
Ron was too pure-hearted
Hermione was Hermione
Example, Ron being a jealos snot occasionally; Hermione falling for the wrong guy...
Eh?
but the horrid that affected Ron could have had a lot of voldys soul amd mess Ron up much faster
Damn. My life is ruined. Never thought of this. D%.
