Simple solution: in the middle of the night, dig a post hole and plant a few concrete ballards on either side of the walkway. People, bikes and skateboards can get through, but not cars. We did it in London, and no one said boo.
At least they acted civil towards her, I would have just grabbed the pipe and smashed her head in because I'm a horrible person with no control over my anger towards those kinds of people.
