Depends a lot on the artist too. But hell, Disney and Marvel together seem to have a good balance IMO because they make movies that are appropriate for almost all ages, which is smart, because if kids can watch them from a younger age, and enjoy it from a younger age, they're likely to grow up liking Marvel, and thus at some point be mature enough to handle the more badass aspects.

They know how to make money lol. If you were aspiring to be an animator, Disney should be your end goal. Character designers too. I'm sure the team to design and create these characters are living pretty comfortably.

Hell yeah! And the fact of the matter is, both Marvel and Disney have reached the point where they aren't afraid to take chances, to delve into lesser known story-lines and its usually met with quite a good response. That's why they're getting the big bucks.

Both story writers are freaking geniuses as well. They know how to put a plot together.

Actually in the comics Baymax is a robotic synthformer with 3 "personas" 1) large humanoid kind of looks like a large male bodyguard 2) fighting robot & 3) battle dragon pictures above. But it definitely seemed Disney took more from the first 2 forms than the dragon.
