Sometimes people need to be told to eff off. You have to stand up against things that are wrong, and sometimes people will disagree with you, but that doesn't mean you can let things like (on a very large scale) the holocaust or (on a smaller one) discrimination or bullying happen. And sometimes standing up for those things gets you enemies of people who aren't good people.

It could have been said by Ernesto Guevara or Stalin for all I know, so... giving it a higher moral value because Winston Fucking Churchill may not be that great.

Well, you can always look it up to see that he did say it. And just because someone else can say it and have it be completely wrong doesn't change the fact that it's a good quote.
