i live in the northern Virginia country side. of course i have been around horses, when i was three a horse trampled me shattering my left collar bone

Horses can travel up to 35 mph, especially hot headed breeds. I've been riding since I was 7 and it's been almost 9 years now. I'm gonna assume you don't exaclty like them but to me they're the best thing that's ever happened to me. So many people today don't know the rush of galloping a horse, or jumping, or anything else. Adrenaline at its best.
