You may not know this but rabbits change the color of their fer based on the time of year. Brown in the spring summer and fall. And white in the winter.

Not all hares actually a lot of them don't change to white

So I did a small amount of research. The photo was taken by a Rissian photographer. She probably took the picture in Russia. And I am certainly not an expert in the wild life there. But it does seem weird to me that the rabbit wouldn't change color in a place where it snows. Oh well nature is a bitch. Haha

The arctic hare changes color but not all do like I said it also depends on how cold it actually is at the time
