They'll never take our culture lad. Language, yes. Independence, for about 120 years if your talking about papers and documents. But not culture. Not in a million years.

My personal fav. Get an entire country addicted to opium and then fight a war against said country to keep them addicted. All for tea.

There was an ad for the six nations where Scottish, Italian, Irish and French people chanted England, and at the very end it said "it's not about who we want to win, it's about who we want to loose" I think I was for Guinness.

You may be familiar with the term holocaust being used in the example of WWII, but holocaust is a term more widely used (ie. Stalin's holocaust), it's often used for mass killings, such as genocide, which the Brits definitely did

Irish killed a lot of British too. They commited horrible crimes like killing English soldiers beside their wives and children.

We killed the Brits because they were marching over our land, shooting our wives and children, selling the food from our mouths, torturing innocent civilians, yes we killed English soldiers, and good, they deserved nothing more after what they did on Bloody Sunday. Just remember, we weren't the ones who made it pretty much a crime to be Irish in Ireland
