Nothing Scares Me More Than Schrödinger's Phone

Last week I dropped my phone face first on the bathroom floor and I heard a massive crack. I was afraid to look down, but when I did, the noise happened to be the kickstand on my case popping up on impact. The phone was fine.

I don't get it.

So I went to check out at Walmart the other day, and the number was lit up, but the lane closed sign was out. The cashier asked me if I was ready, and I was like "I'm confused" and explained about the light and the sign. He told me it was Schroeder's lane, both open and close at the same time.
