Women shouldn't expect outrageous things and great lengths from men, but respect goes a long way. I see nothing wrong with someone wanting romance but not all women expect it. Some just want someone to spend time with. But then I do agree that porn gives unrealistic expectations but only for the mentally weak and tools. Not all men watching porn expect uber hot sex experts to come into their lives. In the end, you can't expect not to do something thoughtful for your loved one on both sides (Bring her/him something special or do something spotaneously sexual) or else you eventually lose the spark. Now I just feel like I'm rambling but I've said my two cents.

I definitely agree with you on the romantic movie part- some romance is nice, but you can't always expect a fairy tale with every relationship you're in. As for porn, quite honestly, it's unrealistic for EVERYONE- not just men. It's unrealistic for men because it gives off the illusion that every girl will pretty much be into anything you ask her to do (anal, threesomes, etc.). It's unrealistic for women because it gives off the illusion that every guy is this super sex God who has a 9" penis. But yes, you're right, anyone taking pointers from porn on how to please their partner seriously needs to reevaluate their life decisions, because let's be honest, your new super hot female neighbor isn't going to just walk over to your house, introduce herself, and then immediately start giving you a bj, nor is your really hot cable guy going to rip your clothes off and have sex with you completely unwarranted. Porn is indeed unrealistic- for everyone.
