I'm an engineer and I have people skills... >.>
.
I have to coordinate between lab techs, sales people, customer service, shipping/receiving, and operators as well as meet/conference with customers/suppliers.
.
What do you think we do? Punch numbers in a calculator all day...?
[It wasn't me! I'm fully use to people hating on engineers, and that certainly wasn't "hate" :)]
And I too fix other engineers' mistakes all day. But...I get paid well to do it. So, yeah, it's *shrugs*
I love when architects designate 120sf for housing mechanical and sprinkler equipment while the engineers want 600sf but the PM promises to fit it into 200 while the installers weep in the corner saying they actually need 800.
*nods* this is the world of business =/
.
Cars are a great example of how nothing gets made the way it should, because 20 compromises have to be made on every part -_-
