The movie Tuck Everlasting was actually better than the book because they made Winnie 15 instead of 10/11 years old and Jesse did not look like a pervert that way
That's not necessarily true. I don't think you can say someone is wrong, and more importantly call someone stupid, when it's a matter of opinion

I would usually agree but I think in some cases this isn't true, for example I much preferred the movie version of The Hobbit, simply because the book is so short there was hardly any time to actually form any sort of emotional attachment to the characters, whereas in the movie I was genuinely moved at the deaths at the end of the movie.
Another exception was Bridget Jones's Diary II. I hated the book but the movie was funny and much closer in spirit to the original Bridget Jones novel.
