Doctor: Should've gotten those vaccines.
Mum: Well, I didn't, and I'm still *chokes, eats polio pills* .....alive.
Doctor: You do know those pills count as vaccines, right? You've been taking them for all your life and you can speak so very correctly.
Mum: Still don't want a vac- *dies of instant polio*
People who refuse to vaccinate should lose their rights to be a parent and also should be sterilized and put into slums that are separate from normal society,so they can die off away from the public eye.
That's a little harsh. We don't sterilize parents who abuse their children or feed a drug addiction instead of their children. My parents didn't have my siblings and I vaccinated. I've never had a serious sickness, not even the flu. I think a parent should have the right to choose if they want to vaccinate their children or not and both sides of this debate should leave each other alone. It's a matter of personal opinion and both sides are kinda mean to each other:/
Okay EXCEPT the fact that by not getting vaccinated the disease goes into YOUR body and evolves to get passed those who are. Though you may not get sick, you can cause others to. Maybe because people around you are vaccinated you've never come in contact with one of those diseases, but odds are if you did you'd get sick pretty quickly.
And if you don't take the medicine you'll get sick. It's common sense. It's not like people are having random things shot into them because it's their opinion. That's why in other countries have many more sick people, because they don't have the medicine or vaccines.
Queen, your parents should not have custody over you. Not vaccinating a child puts both the child and the people around them in danger. You parents are ignorant and should not be trusted to care for even a goldfish.
This is what I truly don't understand though guys maybe y'all can help me out here. If I'm not vaccinated am I not only endangering myself really? I mean if y'all are vaccinated against the diseases and sicknesses shouldn't you not be able to catch stuff from people like me who aren't vaccinated? Let's say I have the flu and you, the vaccinated person, come around me. Shouldn't your shots prevent you from catching what I have? If not, then why get the vaccines? And ns Id rather you not talk about my parents in such an offensive way. I'm nearly 21 years old and doing just fine. Never had a sickness other than the stomach virus twice. I think my parents raised me to the best of their knowledge.

No, you're endangering others, too, because sometimes immune systems weaken, or maybe a baby hasn't had the shot yet.
Babies can't get shots, and the disease mutates and gets stronger within your body, putting even the vaccinated in danger. Go get vaccinated, at least for the people around you.

Or if you go to visit a friend in the hospital or go near someone who's still recovering from, say, cancer, their immune systems are greatly weakened.
Plus, there may be some people who haven't gotten their vaccines either in the same way as you or because they haven't had the chance to, the virus can still stick onto things without making you sick ( as I said above ) and can make others sick as well.
Vaccines help prevent the virus as of now, but if it gets to you it can evolve to get us as well. It's really helping everyone.
Theres so much against shots nowadays and at the same time people are for them. I'm gonna have to do a lot of research before I have anything foreign pumped into my body. And I'm always very careful when it comes to hospitals and such. If I have a sick family member in the hospital I don't go cause I don't wanna risk anything. I had a cousin who passed away recently from cancer. He was 3 but I couldn't go see him cause I was scared I'd give home something.

If you're scared you're going to give him something, GET VACCINATIONS. It greatly lowers the risk. And getting something foreign pumped into your body? Food's technically foreign, right? Vaccinations are a medical breakthrough, not something designed to give you autism (if that's what you believe they give you, it's unclear what you do believe) or take your money for no reason or give you any other disease/disorder/issue.
I bet your cousin died of cancer because his parents were too stupid to get him treatment. First: "I'm not going to let that foreign medicine into him! My witch doctor says that a diet of only dirt and grass will cure him! Just because you have a medical degree doesn't mean your smarter than me! I don't trust big pharma, because my elementary school diploma PROVES that I am smart!!" Then later: "my three year old died from cancer, and the doctors didnt save his life. This PROVES that the medical industry is a lie!!! Don't listen to doctors!!!!!! I am smarter!!!" You know what? If your cousin died from that kind of ignorance, he was basically murdered. If you die, it counts as you being murdered by your ignorant parents.
Ns you need to calm down sheesh. Seriously talking about someone else family in that mannerism is truly offensive and also makes you seem ignorant. If you want someone to listen to your opinion and take what you have to say into consideration, you don't yell at them and talk badly about their family. Wisdom gets the point across and is better received by the listener if not spoken in a harsh tone. My cousin had all his vaccinations and was receiving the best of care at a Children's hospital especially for cancer patients. He battled cancer from 6months till he lost the battle when he was 3. His parents did everything in their power to try to save him but the cancer overcame his little body. It hurts my feelings that you would treat my painful loss as a way to rant at someone when you don't have all the facts.

Although I'm strongly on ns's side of the argument, I'd have to agree. It's disrespectful to talk about other people like that when you've heard, what, 1 sentence about them? RIP, little boy.
