As much as I agree, at the same time, (although I haven't watched the new one yet) it would've been somewhat wrong if they didn't pay some sort of tribute to him, being part of the franchise.
while it's sort of true, i don't think that is the whole reason. He was a massive part of the franchise and over that time was bound to leave an impact on the rest of the cast and crew. this film was like his last goodbye.
Plus, they put the film on hold to make sure his family were ok with it being continued-they were willing to scrap it out of respect
I never saw the movies and don't like them. Not my style. And i saw this one. Yes I only saw because of PW. But I think it was very well done. True they made more money this way probably. Like me, i wouldn't had seen it otherwise. But I don't think the company forced his image. He has always been the main guy. Vin diesel was the one talking more about paul. But I do believe they are friends. And loved how they ended it. I was crying but it was beautiful.
He crashed hi car driving recklessly...and could have just as easily taken out a family coming the other way. Why is Walker so stupendous and the drunk that dies in a crash some loser?
tell that to his 16 year old daughter who had been living soley with him for 3 years prior who he left all of his money to-All. then see if that comment is still 'funny'
