Key word there is mostly, there are still some passages in there that encourage poor behavior e.g. slavery and objectifying women.

Unfortunately, that's totally subjective. So, what's acceptable in one time is not in another. Example: The Dutch were totally fine capturing and transporting slaves to "The English Colonies" in the Americas, but didn't want to own slaves. Or, the trend now is to be totally for gay marriage, but intolerant of three people who want to be married polyamorously. But watch someone get on his/her high horse if you say you're against the first, or for the second...the same person in fact.
