It's become a bit of a running joke, when something goes wrong in your life to end it with "thanks, Obama", I guess making fun of how he gets blamed for everything. The less related, the funnier.

He's always seemed like he'd be cool to hang out with. At least he embraces and owns it when people make fun of him.
