Same! I went into surgery on my 12th birthday! It sucked and my dad kept telling corny jokes like "what's romance? Ants from Rome!" But I laughed and it hurt so much! :)

It was apparently for helping digest raw meat, but over time it doesn't get used as much so it shrank and now it doesn't do much, if anything.
