In many cultures, most things that are alive at some point and have something nutritious inside will be eaten. For many, eating cats and dogs is preferred over eating bugs.
Well, in some cultures I guess it's completely normal to eat cats, like us to eat cows or chicken. And I know cats have been eaten during crisis and famines, like in Argentina I think
I'm sure it's pretty stereotypical that Asians eat cats and dogs, but as a fellow Asian (Singaporean), I've seen streets in China sell cats and dogs as meat. (I vaguely remember that they sell rat meat and monkey innards [something like that])
I gag thinking about it.
Same. I'm just annoyed when my friends tell my why I haven't eaten my dog yet.
One time I said I really liked the neighbours' cats and then they said if I liked their taste and I smacked them in the face
Maybe she was born under a hous/tiny space and her poor mommy was killed while out scavenging for food, so the kitten was traumatized and aleays waiting for her mommy to come back?
I gag thinking about it.
