He cheated on his wife and had an illegitimate daughter. He admitted to the affair but refused to acknowledge his child. He also placed all blame of the affair on the other woman (who was a younger actress), causing such public backlash on her that she was forced to leave the country to raise her daughter. The daughter (who looks exactly like him, poor girl) tried to reach out to get to know her dad but he refused to meet her. Even his son, Jaycee, had met the girl and called her as his sister. It might not have made the news in America but his reputation is pretty shot in China. I acknowledge that he's a decent actor and has a good work ethic, but I don't like him as a person
YES. After his son Jaycee came out of jail, Jackie somehow had a moment of moral clarity and decided to leave ALL his inheritance to Jaycee. (He previously sworn to leave his inheritance to charities and goodwill and whatnot.) When reporters asked him whether his daughter, Etta, was included, he replied, "Yes, I have hurt her." and "I'll let nature take it's course" (in response to meeting Etta).
What "father" does that?
