In a way it's sort of offensive that you think that all bronies are like this. I don't even know how to use 4chan, so why do you think that all of us automatically act like this? We definitely don't here.
You do realize 4chan had to make a whole board just for bronies because they wouldn't get off the /b/ page, right? Like the only reason you are here is because 4chan. That's why you're called bronies. Because /b/+pony=brony
I can see you not understanding from an outsider's point of view. Yes, after the 2010 debut 4chan made its own board. I know.
4chan didn't bring me here. It was the show itself. How 4chan could ever bring me to a site like this doesn't make sense. Along with the fact that I don't know how to use 4chan, that's not where the combination comes from. Brony is a combination of bro and pony. Not /b/ + pony. I've never seen anyone on any thread say that's where it comes from, and I can tell you're just confused and you don't know what you're talking about.
Also what you said has little to no correlation to my original comment. I didn't say anything about 4chan. Bronies from 5 years ago, yes, were kinda weird, but just because that's where the main part of the fandom originated from, it does not mean that everyone acts like that. That's like saying everyone in England has the exact same accent just because they all live in the same country.
/b/ is the biggest board on 4chan, with 39% of the websites activity there. It has a 'no rules' rule as in the sense you can post anything legal. So it only makes sense that a fandom like /bronies/ would start from one of the most fucked up spots on the website. But it is where most memes originate. And pranks. The 4chan vs. tumblr war started on /b/ when they started a Ddos raid. Basically it's 4chan HQ

I never used 4chan, I just hopped on the bandwagon
