We do not plant two saplings for every tree. Maybe some parts of the world, but not the Amazon. They don't give a shit

@guest you seem to forget some trees take a while to grow. They will not magically reach the hight the tree they replaced had at the time it was cut down in just 2 or 3 years.

This is the "deep time" explanation which successfully explains the very very short period of time that the human race has been on the planet. My concern is that if we have done THAT much damage in such a short period then there is absolutely nothing we can do to repair the climate. We are indeed screwed........if what we are being told is really true.

Sorry, I just hated those trees, that's why I chopped them all down with the help of my generation who were not conceived at the time. Watch the "we" shit here.
