the comments on this thread.....seriously lame. If this kid wants to wear tutus and play with dolls, of a little girl wants to build mechano and ride a BMX it shouldn't matter. Whats wrong with society when we stop kids and adults for that matter having fun and expressing themselves just because someone gets uncomfortable? Your all too busy telling everyone how to live, how about you get living yourself, you might have more fun when you stop being so narrow minded. This harms no one, YOU GO KID!
Yeah because you stupid POS's want to ruin our kids lives.
Let some kids at his school see his "cute" painted nails and he'll be made fun of horribly.
That's what you're setting him up for.

Well I was going to say something funny and uplifting but the assholes in the comments made me upset, why not let them raise their kids the way try want to?

Great, how bout some piercings and tattoos before he comes to school? Make him a bloody juggalo before he is able to make any choice but his favourite breakfast sereal. This is very amazing and inspirational. Not...
They're teaching their kid to be okay about what they want to do. He may not have wanted to paint his nails, he was just saying it was for girls, but they don't want him to feel like he can't do something just because it's not okay with the consensus.
But, in the end, gender roles are not natural. We didn't adapt into them or anything like that. They're just results of years of tradition. Women are not naturally submissive, and men are not naturally dominant. Yet we've made it out to be that way. Heck, pink used to be a masculine color, until Hitler came along and marked homosexuals with pink.
