As someone from Georgia, I can say that this is about an 80% completely true stereotype.

I'm also from Georgia. This is true mostly in the southern parts of Georgia, and as biscuit said, only about 20% true.

Well, if you drive into southern Georgia this is about 80% true, but not in the Atlanta area it ain't. Also, not stalkery-ish, but where in Georgia do you guys live?

But if you think about it, estate sales are just sales for dead people's stuff, and those are pretty common in a lot of places. Maybeee not the fried gator tails though.

Really? Gator tails are at almost every festival where I live in Georgia, I thought it was common!

Nope...never seen gator tails. Just the average fried snickers, fried oreos, etc. I think I saw fried butter once, but I may have read the sign wrong.
