I would not be able to stay married to him. I support gay rights but I want a husband who is attracted to me and is my best friend and in love with me.

That's why it's so interesting. I mean, we don't know if she knew from the begining or not, or what's her story. Maybe she lost the one that was the love of her life, and wanted someone to be with, a friend is perfect. Or maybe she craved a family more than anything, and she got it.

That's what I mean. You in particular want a life with a romantic life partner, and therems nothing wrong with that, just that there are plenty of other life fantasies people have. I say this because I sometimes dream of having children, but in my perfect happy fantasy, I'm alone, no partner. Even if it doesn't sound normal, there's no reason to believe she was unhappy.

Yes, to keep up appearances. You may not have noticed but homosexuality has not always been accepted everywhere. Often it was, and unfortunately still is, something you hide.
