I once knew these people who found a cat with our neighbors and threw a fit because they wanted to keep it. They ended up leaving it in a cage outside and tried dunking it in a fountain to wash.
Crating is a perfectly acceptable way to care for a dog if done properly. Some people may register it as cruel but it can help be like a security blanket for dogs that get anxious when their owners aren't home. Just don't be a piece of shit about it and use it as punishment or leave it in there

Exactly. I have a larger German Shepard and we have a crate inside the house and a large covered kennel in the backyard. When she's in the crate she sleeps and actually puts herself to bed in there. She doesn't like the kennel as much but we only leave her in there if nobody is going to be home for more than a couple of hours.
we have 2 of those fr my dog....on the side yard (where he usually hangs out) there is a door to our garage which we put a doggy in and we have a crate inside the garage....but like he can come and go as he pleases and we have another one for inside only for niht so he can come inside. neither of the 2 crates are that metal type and both of them have a thin carpet so its comfortable....y thin u ask, so no fleas can stay there
