Coca cola used to have actual cocain in it. Compared to drug prices now that's surprising.

When it was a medicine, coca leaves were added for the sole purpose of the effects we now associate with low doses of cocaine. A tea made from coca leaves, or if you smoke coca leaves, you will feel a degree of energy on par with a few cans of RedBull
