The philippines is pretty whacked up. My friend is from there and from his storys I can tell that's someplace you don't want to be. During lunch break you can buy and smoke cigarettes and weed at school. Schools don't have air conditioning and If you walk down a street you are guaranteed to see a drunk, a tweaker, or a pothead.

Sounds like a lot of Asian schools, especially the air conditioning one. Only western kids are really spoiled by it.

What the hell is your friend talking about? I lived and went to school in the Philippines for three years and I've never seen what your friend has described. Now it is true that some schools don't have air conditioning, but they at least have a couple of fans in each room. And I walk to and from school everyday and never have I seen a drunk, a pothead, or a tweaked. The one I call the most bs on is being able to buy and smoke cigarettes and weed during school.

true. I live in america, but my parents always tell me stories of what it's like in the PI. yes, it may be whacked up, but it's basically either you have money, or you don't. Which is basically in EVERY country the whole world's whacked up.

What! Is the air conditioning normal in western countries? I study in Singapore and schools never have air conditioning
