Damn, I feel sorry for that guy.

As a hotel worker I can verify that this kind of crap does happen. I run into somewhat similar situations every so often. It's so awkward. Although there are a lot of policies to follow as far as bills and receipts and who can access them. But yes we do save your info and booking history.
