I am a supporter of gay marriage, and definitely not a supporter of the confederate south. But the use of the Confederate flag to represent homosexual intolerance in Brazil is a misuse of context.
Anyone who dont like gays or disagree with them is evil and homophobic by definition?...Am I obligated to agree with them or I will became homophobic too?...NAZIGAYS, That's what they are...
I'm 100% a supporter of gay rights, so don't get me wrong here, but I hate it when people use images out of context - this is exactly what the media does. I haven't seen this debate so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure an anti-gay rights activist could take an image of the pastor looking calm and the Brazilian man looking furious and angry. It says a lot about the debate at that moment in time, not the entire anti-gay movement, so please stop making pro-gay activists to be angelic people that never do anything wrong. Both sides of this debate have done wrong - a church in my neighborhood was trashed a few months ago and there was pro-gay graffiti on the walls. Again, I'm 100% pro gay rights, but don't paint all of us out to be perfect and don't make the other side seem like horrible human beings
Rant over... Sorry :P
