I hope your ship becomes cannon, but then the writer was all jk and reverts it to just a lonely ship in the sea of emotions.

I hope your doctor cheated his or her way through medical school

I hope you step in some water in socks

I hope you have to watch person A in your otp having to kill the other, and they realise, after the deed is done, that there was a different solution that would have resulted in the both of them being alive. And that person B was insistent on it happening, not wanting A to have to die. And that the idea for the different solution comes just as B is dying, and that solution that would have kept them both alive is the last thing B hears.
