I was tutoring this kid, and he was trying to answer the question, "Why are units important?" Me: "Well, if you were going to bake a cake, how much flour would you use?" Him: "2" Me: "2 what?" Him: "I don't know." *facepalm* ... I wish I was making that up.
Actually, they have tested this. It's not minutes. Every manufacturer has a different "timing" setting. For instance 2 on my toaster is one minute and twenty-five seconds.
