So you're saying Satan and I could become roommates in Hell? "I don't care if you call yourself the 'Prince of Darkness', don't leave the dishes in the sink!"
I asked this question to my Christian Education teacher... totally worth the 10 minutes of her avoiding the question and pointing in another topic's direction, the half hour argument and lunchtime detention

Why'd you get in trouble? It's a valid question.

Satan does not run hell. We haven't a clue where that Idea originated from. Satan disobeyed God and was punished. As for your teacher well, she shouldn't be teaching bible studies then.
Hi Guys, generally... I'm the kid in her class that is just there to ask really critical questions to piss her off and usually succeed - with high fives from other students coming out the door, but seriously... It was a valid question and I'm honestly not sure why it was so hard for her to answer, she's also extremely against homosexuality... like seriously she spent a whole lesson ranting about them and one girl gave her an earful and she said something like "leave the classroom. Anybody who agrees, stand up and leave with her." literally the entire class just stood up and left!
Totally. You can have a opposing belief from someone but you shouldn't be hateful. It's sad to see the world label Christians as intolerant hateful people when the first thing the bible teaches is to love and to put others before yourself...love changes people in ways so much further than hate ever will and no one realizes this.
Omg!!!! I have always thought this!!!! My Catholic and christian friends called me crazy. My jehova witness friends told me I was right! (They don't believe in hell)
That's because while Satan is real. There's no such thing as a burning hell you go to to be tortured when you die depending on what kind of person you were in life. It'd make no sense. Satan wants you to do bad things. Mmkay?
Satan doesn't rule hell. Hell is..a lot of things. God's wrath. Seperation from Him. But God is in control of hell, not satan.

I've given up applying logic to religion. While our regular teacher for Religious Education is on long-service leave (he actually knows what he's talking about and we can have a conversation), we have a boring twenty-something woman who rambles on about the history of Christianity in Australia, and when I ask a question pointing out a contradiction in one of the Beatitudes, she turns the topic away. Rough times, my friends.

It's later, I am a hungry Christian who needs to know if the toaster is okay.
