The size proportions are huge

As Wolfram|Alpha is able to compute such things, I got :
(diameter of the milky way)/(diameter of the sun) = 6.8 x 10^11
And, as W|A did not get everything, I found that a white blood cell is about 12 micrometers and got:
(distance between San Francisco and Virginia Beach in meters)/(12 micrometers) = 3.4 x 10^11
So, it's the same order of magnitude, and I'm completely stunned.
