The ones who make fun of them are usually the casual gym goers who come in like once a month. It's as if they have never seen an overweight person working out.

I haven't seen anyone laughing or being rude to an overweight gym goer but a couple days ago and i was right outside the arcade and a heavier set gal was playing on the ddr game and she was killing it. But also just outside the door was a group of peppy dirt bags who were laughing at her. ......i wanted to punch them.

its annoying how often its women, the world would be amazing if we just supported each other more. i mean sometimes men say shit too but its normally its along the lines "ugh i wouldn't fuck her to save my life" which is a completely different problem than fat shaming, and frankly I'd be relieved not to have the man who said that imaging diddling me.

Fat is not beautiful by any means. But neither is hatred. Most people aren't fat because they are weak. Most people are fat because of issues that have nothing to do with food. If I see a fat person working out, I am happy they are doing something. They may still continue to overeat, but at least they are exercising and trying to be healthy as they possibly can be.
