extra interesting because they do make roller things for just this scenario. like at work they resurfaced the lot and while they got most people out, since it IS an airport many employees actually fly out for months at a time, so the remaining cars had wheelie things put under each tire and they slid them over to the finished parts to continue working.
i think maybe you misunderstood part of my post, or maybe i am confused about yours. they simply slid parked cars to a different part of the lot. plus everyones got the cars they park there registered to their names and stuff so i bet most of them got phone calls from the airport management telling them that their cars are magically relocated and not to panic when they get home.
ah then i misunderstood you. i believe most car owners were contacted, so knew their cars would be in a new spot. you have to register your car to park it there so they have a phone number associated with your tags. the handful of people who got this step wrong just had to figure it out i assume.
