This might sound strange, but I feel that way about a lot of people. Don't know if I genuinely don't have a lot of close friends or if it's normal and I've just got big over expectations from watching crappy teen comedies where everybody knows everybody else's biggest secrets

I found University to be like that, I had two really close friends and we knew everything about each other (provably cuz we lived together lol) but in the real world its so fast paced and everyone is always changing the direction of their lives, its hard to keep up and be close to anyone

The same thing has happened to me! 2 very close friends at uni, but since leaving I got married and had kids and they're both career women. We very rarely talk anymore, and whilst it really upsets me sometimes I do know that that's just life and I try not to take it personally that they go on nights out and holidays together and I don't ever get an invite.
